SGL 277 Railroad Bridge

I liked the way the late sun hit this bridge. It's near a cache placed by our friend Rev. Mike.

Building in Warren PA

I took this photo when virtual caches still existed. I hoped to claim this for our flat iron building find. I had this photo, one with the gps, and the coordinates. When I checked the locationless checker it had been claimed a few weeks prior. I still liked the shot. On the right day, Warren photographs like a postcard.

Swallow Falls - Maryland

Swallow Falls is one of our favorite places to visit. This, along with a stop at nearby Cranesville Swamp, are must-stops for us on any trip near the area. The 53 foot falls are the topping on a hike through majestic hemlocks as old as 400 years. The park was a favorite camping destination for friends Henry Ford, Thomas Edison, and Harvey Firestone. This photo was taken in September 2004 on the way home from a trip to Shenandoah.

This photo was taken while walking an old railroad grade near Irvine PA. The railroad grade is home to birds year-round and wildflowers from spring to fall.

Pennsylvania Early Morning in September

This photo was taken in an early Septmeber morning in 2004 from the deck at our home. It was taken just after Labor Day, that time of the year where it is still too warm for tree color to change and enough rain has made everything lush for a last turn of summer.

Pine Plantation Hearts Content Scenic Area

We often bring the dogs to this area for a hike. The pine plantation is the last stretch of our usual hike. This photo was taken New Years Eve 2003.

Moon Over Bushy Top

Bushy Top is a trail reached after a short walk from Skyland at Shenandoah National Park. During our last visit in September 2004 we would walk over to Bushy Top to enjoy the sunset after each day of hiking.

Hi

The photos here will be my favorite portrait prints in color. I plan to keep this to 50 photos at most. If I find something to add, I will take away. They are here for you to enjoy and reflect. I will try to add notes where appropriate.
